Believing in people before they have proved themselves is the key to motivating people to reach their potential.
Everyone loves encouragement. It lifts them up when they're down and motivated them when they're feeling discouraged. To be an encourger, you need to believe the best in people, that is, to have FAITH in them. In fact, faith is essential for building and mantaining all the postivie relationships, yet it's a scarce commodity today. People are so stingy with their compliments and praises. This might be due to the culture in the society these days, they are so busy occupied with their own work, without realizing the blessing that they have around them. Take a look at the following fouw facts about faith.
1. Most People Don't Have Faith In Themselves.
When someone says to you, " you've got to have faith in whatever you do!", in the remakrs, he says: " yea, easy for you to say." that is exactly too many people feel today. The have trouble believing in themselves. The believe that they will fail. Even when they see a light at the end of the tunnel, they're convinced it's a train. They see a difficulty in every opportunity or responsibility. But the REALITY is that difficulties seldom defeat people, lack of fatih in themselves usually does it. With a little faith in yourself, you can do miraculous things. There are always difficulty in every opportunity, there is also opportunity in every difficulty.
2. Most poeple Can Tell When Someonre Else Has Faith In Them.
In our society today, most people feel isolated. The strong sense of community that was once enjoyed by most society nowadays has become rare. And many people don't have the family support that was more comon thirty or fourty years ago. Evangelist Bill Glass noted, "Over 90% of the inmates in America were told by parents while growing up, they're going to put you in jail." Instead of teaching their children to believe in themselves, some parents are tearing them down. For many peopl, even those who are closest to them don't believe in them. I myself experience the same thing, even some of my close friends. They have no one on their side.
3. Most Poeple Can Tell When Someone Else Has Faith in Them
People's instincts are pretty good at knowing when others have faith in them. They can sense that whether your belief are genuine or phony. And truly, having fatih in someone CAN CHANGE HIS OR HER LIFE.
Always remember that your goal is not to get people to think more highly of you. It's to get them think more highlly of themselves. Have faith in them, and they will begin to do exactly that.
4. Most People Will Do Anything To Live Up to Your Faith In Them
People rise or fall to meet your level of expectations for them. If you express skepticism and doubt in others, they will return your lack of confidence with mediocrity. But if you believe in them and expect them to do well, they will go the extra mile trying to do their best. And in the process, they and you benefit. Remember " Those who believe in our ability do more than stimulate us. They create for us an atmosphere in which it becomes easier to succeed."

Leadership is about influence - John Maxwell-
Your
success in leadership solely depends on your ability to get results. Because
your influence is so strong, in order for your team to perform at their highest
level, you MUST first ensure that you are performing at yours. REMEMBER, Leadership is
not about dictatorship, giving command to your employees or to your team all
the time. It is about INSPIRING them to work together with you, giving ENCOURAGEMENT,
and MOTIVATE them to achieve your goals and vision together.
So ARE YOU?
So ARE YOU?

How's Your Belief system May Screw you Up All the Time!
Henry Ford IS RIGHT! when he said, “If you think you can…. or if you think you can’t…you’re right!”
It does not matter whether our beliefs are true or not. The
question you must ask is, "Are the beliefs you have useful in
empowering you ...to take action?" or "Are your beliefs holding you
back?"
So how do we form the beliefs we have today? Why do we have
limiting beliefs? And how did limiting beliefs screw us up all the time?
Well, Self-limiting beliefs are those things you believe about yourself that place limitations on your abilities. They may be conscious or unconscious. They may be founded or unfounded eg:
I am fat and ugly so no one will marry me, or I am not lucky; I won’t get the project, I don't think I can, because I never try it before etc....
Limitations are actually a "THING" of the mind. In reality we have none. You can do anything if you make up your mind to do it. Determination always finds a way around obstacles. Therefore
It all depends on what you believe about yourself.
So let me ask you, "Are the beliefs we have true? Are they true?" The answer is, "Yes! They are true, but guess what? Only to you."
This is because whatever you believe becomes your reality. However,
you must understand that beliefs are not fact. They are never
always true. They are NEVER TRUE FOR EVERYONE ELSE.
Therefore, choose your beliefs wisely, because It will determine what you will achieve and what you will not achieve in your life.
